Tree Pruning

On Saturday, February 18th, 1 p.m., Blue Water Baltimore with partner with the Baltimore Tree Trust to prune young trees growing on the rear hillside of the school property known as KASA (formerly Green Street Academy). The rear hillside is located across from an apartment complex with the address of 201 N Rock Glen Rd 21229. Meet up at the top of the hillside.

Rain/snow date is Sunday, Feb 19th, 1–3pm.

Gloves, tools, and safety vests will be available for use but you may bring your own sharp, clean pruners and saws. City Forestry will pickup up the cuttings that we accumulate.

This workshop is part of the Baltimore TreeKeepers program – a series of free classes open to the public teaching tree stewardship and best urban forestry management practices. Certification as a Tree Planting Leader and a Tree Pruning Expert is available to those who complete the program requirements. Click here to register.
