Gwynns Falls Water Quality Trends Community Meeting
2631 Sisson Street
Baltimore, MD 21211
Join us for these community outreach meetings where we will be disseminating the results of the Gwynns Falls Trends Analysis study.
We will be sharing preliminary results from a new study looking at 20 years worth of water quality data in the Gwynns Falls to answer the questions:
- What’s in my water?
- Is water quality getting better over time?
- What is causing these long-term changes?
Measurements of water health included: fecal bacteria, ammonia, nutrients (nitrogen & phosphorus), and chloride. Some of the driving factors we looked at included: sewer repairs, sewage overflows, water main breaks, stormwater projects, and road salt application.
