Clifton Park Tree Identification Walk

Join our forestry team for a walk in Clifton Park to learn basic tips and tricks of winter tree identification. We’ll focus on subtle variations in the bark, buds, and general form of both young and mature native species.

Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome! Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable close-toed shoes. If you have a tree identification book or a hand lens, you are welcome to bring these along!

After the event, participants have the opportunity to join staff for more tree talk at the nearby Charles Village Pub, 3107 St Paul St, 21218

This event counts toward your Tree Keepers Certification! Check out treebaltimore.org for more Tree Keepers events.
