Our Watersheds

Blue Water Baltimore works in the Patapsco and Back River watersheds (in approximately a 194 square mile area).  The central, western and downtown streams flow into the Patapsco River and the streams on the eastern side of the city flow into Herring Run  and then the Back River. All streams, tributaries and rivers ultimately flow into the Chesapeake Bay
