Nursery Manager

The Nursery Manager operates Herring Run Nursery, a non-profit nursery operated by Blue Water Baltimore that specializes in selling native plants grown in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The Nursery offers more than 250 species of trees, shrubs, vines and perennials to both retail and wholesale customers. The Nursery Manager serves as the chief manager of this social enterprise, and is responsible for the day to day operations as well as the overall business direction. Nursery Intern

Blue Water Baltimore, the leading water quality nonprofit in Baltimore, seeks a volunteer Nursery Intern to support Herring Run Nursery, our native plant nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about working with native plants and ecological gardening. The nursery grows and sells perennials, grasses, ferns, shrubs and trees of mid-Atlantic species. Nursery Worker

Blue Water Baltimore, the leading water quality nonprofit in Baltimore, seeks a Nursery Worker to support Herring Run Nursery, our native plant nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about working with native plants and ecological gardening. This position will support the nursery in its growing operations and facilities maintenance. Tree Lorax

Blue Water Baltimore seeks a Seasonal Tree Maintenance Lorax to assist our forestry team. This position involves working as part of a small team dedicated to summer tree maintenance. Your main tasks will involve navigating to sites, recording individual level and site level data, assessing the needs of individual trees, and carrying out maintenance tasks according to our standard operating procedures (SOPs). Volunteer Manager

Blue Water Baltimore seeks a Volunteer Manager to motivate, track, and place volunteers in our restoration programs. Volunteers power many of our restoration and monitoring projects and programs.
