Advocacy and Public Policy Manager
The role of the Advocacy and Public Policy Manager will be to support the Executive Director and Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper with advocacy efforts needed to move forward our clean water initiatives and programs.
The Advocacy and Public Policy Manager will providing technical analysis and input in the drafting of new legislation, supporting passage of new laws and regulations through grassroots organizing and lobbying. Project Clean Stream Intern
The Project Clean Stream Intern will work closely with the Volunteer Manager to implement Project Clean Stream within the Herring Run, Jones Falls, Gwynns Falls and Direct Harbor watersheds. The Intern will be responsible for recruiting volunteers and site captains, assisting with training and supply distribution days, implementing projects and compiling data for reports. Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Interns
Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper, a program of the non-profit organization Blue Water Baltimore, is looking for several volunteer interns to assist with water quality monitoring field operations in Baltimore area streams, rivers, and the Inner Harbor. Data collected from these studies is critical to the development of the 2015 and 2016 Healthy Harbor Report Cards, as well as other advocacy and outreach projects.
